Weird and Funny Things People Do Just Before Valentine’s Day

Romance is in the air, Val’s day for most people is not what it’s made out to be, just before Val’s day a lot of hype is put out by people who have commercialised the celebration, there is so much hype in the air that people fall into a frenzy of buying and booking (whatever happened to the simple pleasures of life).

Then there are the people who have to get a partner at all cost so as not to feel left out in the frenzy, or people who are just waiting for that wrong move from their partners on vals day to prove to them that their partner doesn’t or does truly love them.

Then there are those who feel lost and lonely even before Vals day and get lonelier when Vals around the corner.

While for some it’s the perfect time to breakup with an old love and start with someone new.

Then there are those who will send flowers to themselves in the workplace just to show to colleagues that they do have a love life and that someone cares for them.

For some it’s a time for them to buy the most expensive gift for their partners to prove how much they love them or to buy them over for all their inadequacies.

Some will even book “romantic getaways”   for two and flaunt in front of anyone who cares to take note.

Then for some Vals day just pushes home the fact they have been dumped.
